I need help. My Gr.Gr. Grandma, Sarah Ann BOYD SWONGER lived in Bucyrus, Oh. after the Civil War. Her husband, John was killed at Murfreesborough, Tenn. durning the war. Sarah applied for a pension, I can't find out what happened to her after that. Did she remarry or die? I do not find her in any of the cemetery books. Thanks for any help

Andrew J. MORRISON Andrew J. Morrison, son of John MORRISON and Mary BROKAW, was born in Crawford County in 1841. He married Mary "Molly" GEARHART in 1865. He was living with his daughter Emma Delphos (MORRISON) TEEL in Spokane WA in 1920 when he was 78 years old. After that he disappears from my radar screen. Does anyone know when & where he and his wife Mary died?

SHUNK. I am seeking information on the family of Adam SHUNK, who is described in detail in two Crawford County Histories (1881 and 1912). I have a great deal of information on his ancestry, siblings, parents, grandparents, etc., and would love to correspond with those who may share my interest. I am also seeking an obituary (Adam died 30 October 1892 in Bucyrus, Crawford Co. OH) and would also like to know if he left a will. If anyone can help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I am researching my ancestor George and Ann (TAYLOR/FAILOR) BENDER and his children. He also married Sarah WADDAMS in 1845 and died abt 1851. Andrew BENDER his first born son is my ancestor. He married Sarah KISOR/KISER. Their son Henry J.and Isabelle (CROSS) BENDER are my ggrandparents. Isabelle's parents were John Wilson and Rowena (DUNLAP) CROSS. Sarah KISOR'S parents were George and Susanna (HARE) KISOR. I am stuck on George BENDER who migrated here in 1824 and entered 80 acres of land. Among other things, I am not sure of Mary's last name.

I am seeking a birth record for my grandfather. The problem is that it is nearly impossible to read his place of birth on his marriage certificate. His name was Perry L. TIDABACK. He was born around 1879--1881. It looks like Pension, Renson, or Rensim Ohio. His parents were John TIDABACK and Carrie FRONT. We know that the family lived in Bucyrus for several years. I am wondering if one of the above name places can be found in old records of Crawford County. I looked everywhere for these names and came up empty handed. We had thought his mother's name was Olivia. We were stunned today to learn it was not thanks to the folks at the Livingston Co., IL Genealogical Society who located his marriage record. This mystery just keeps getting bigger every day, even after years of research. I will be visiting in your area in Sept. and would love the chance to see what you have on record. Anything you can tell me in the meantime will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Searching for MARQUIS ancestors, g-g-grandfather William Vance MARQUIS and his wife Mary PARKS. A Presbyterian Church history (Logan Co) registry of members lists Mary PARKS MARQUIS, "ex,...wife of William V. M. from Belmont Co., died Bucyrus about 1860." I can't find a record of William Vance's death in Bellefontaine (where the church record says he lived.) Did they move to Crawford Co and are they buried there? William was b. 1772 in Washington Co PA. Mary was his second wife

I believe that my great-great grandfather Heinrich GUNDRUM lived in Crawford County OH between 1837 and 1844. He was born in Hesse 24 April 1816 and arrived in America 16 August 1837. He lived first in Ohio, then moved through Indiana and by 1844 settled in Racine and then Washington Co., Wisconsin. I am very interested in any information about GUNDRUM family origins in Hesse and about whether anyone in Crawford Co. has information about a young Heinrich who fits my great-great grandfather's description.

I am seeking children of Isaac STOCK who was born 1818 in PA and raised in Richland County by his parents John/Barbara STOCK (Think Jackson Twp). Isaac married Susan(nah) MILLER 10 Dec 1843. Isaac and Barbara lived in Auburn Twp, Crawford Co.,OH from 1843. There were seven children: Mary M., William Wesley, Celestia Ann STOCK KITTINGER, Liberty Prentice, Harriet " Hattie" Saloma STOCK TILTON, Nancy " Nannie" Lavada STOCK MILLER,and Isaac " Marion" STOCK. All were born in Crawford County, OH between 1847-1862. The last child was born months after his father was killed in a saw accident and their mother died a year later. What happened to the kids?

LINTNER (LENTKWER?) and SHOOP Looking for information on family of Susana LINTNER, also have seen it spelled LENTKWER. She was born in Crawford Co., OH July 11, 1837. Andrew SHOOP, b.November 08, 1822 in Pennsylvania. d. February 25, 1903 in Neillsville, Clark Co., WI. Many of the SHOOP family moved to Crawford County, so i am guessing that Andrew was one of them and that he met Susan LINTNER here. Any info on either of these families will be greatly appreciated.
