Surname NORTON/NAUGHTON: I am searching the Cleveland ,Ohio area for record of my g. g. uncle, Joseph NORTON/NAUGHTON. He emmigrated from Ontario Canada between 1884 and 1920 and believe he opened a nursing home in Cleveland. His wife's first name may have been Maime, his parents names were Michael NAUGHTON and Julia CLEMENT, from Stormont County, Ontario, Canada. His date of birth was about. 1865. PACKER OR PACKARD Looking for info on a Lucinda Packer born 1844 who married a James PHILLIPS probably in PA or OH about 1863. Family legend says she was disowned from her family for marrying (2nd) to an Abraham BATH in Fulton Co IL in 1867. She had one son named James PHILLIPS born 3 Mar 1864 in McKeesport PA and James lists on his marriage application that his father's name was John PHILLIPS. Unable yet to find any info on his father. Pa., Samuel 16, Lemuel 14, all others born in Ohio. Kosciusko Co. Indiana cemetery records have a William WINTERS died 8 Nov 1858. Age 64,8,25. Christina WINTERS died 20 Dec 1864. Age 63,11,20. Seeking any and all information about Sarah UTZ and Peter BRILLHART, who were probably married in Stark Co., Ohio. She was born 1817-1818, according to Stark Co. 1850 Census, in Pennsylvania. She died in Lansing in 1873. Peter was born in York Co., PA in 1819 and died in 1893. They lived in Seneca and Crawford Counties, Ohio from about 1852-1865. In 1866 they were in Henry County, Ohio. I am especially interested in finding Sarah's parents.

RUTH, Henry Francis Know this is a shot in the dark. But, here it goes. I am looking for the parents of Henry Francis RUTH, my g-grandfather, born in 1841 in possibly Bucyrus (?) Twp. Crawford Co.Ohio. He married Martha E. SWONGER in 1866. These are the basics on Henry F. : born 1841, supposedly on Sandusky Ave. in Bucyrus. His mother was a domestic for Christian KUHN and wife of Whetstone Twp. Some report his father was English (which I doubt) and his name was Francis. The info is from his death certificate of 1916 and doubt its validity. My grandfather William H. RUTH, late of Whetstone Twp.. never knew or told who his grandfather was. Henry F. was in the Civil War Co. E 101st., died in Whetstone Twp 1916. He was baptised at the German Reform Church in Whetstone Twp. in 1857. I have no idea where those church files are now.
