Seeking information on Johann Georg KOEBLE. He is my great-grandfather. He married Eva ARNHOLT in Mansfield, Richland Co. OH, on 24 May 1859. The 1860 census shows him as a wagonmaker in Galion, Crawford Co. OH. A son Philip KOEBLE was born in Crestline in 1860 and died young. The family moved to Fort Wayne IN about 1864. Also seeking information on Georg ARNHOLT and Barbara DENNY, parents of Eva ARNHOLT. Georg died in Wayne County OH in 1849. Two daughters: Eva, born Galion, Crawford Co. OH, 27 Nov 1839 Galion, Crawford Co. OH, and Sarah Catherine, born 1846, married Christian GUMPPER. On 14 October 1849 in Wayne County Barbara DENNY ARNHOLT married John Stephan DUCHMAN or DUKEMAN. The DUKEMANs moved to Troy Township, Morrow Co. OH, 1865-1870. Any help, especially church or cemetery records, would be appreciated.

Looking for any data on the family of Henry PLETCHER, born about 1782, died about 1849. In the 1840 Census this Henry lived in Sandusky, Richland Co. OH. He has four sons and two daughters. One of his sons may have been Samuel PLETCHER, born 1823 Galion, Richland Co. (Galion later became part of Crawford Co., OH,) died approximately 1896.

MILLER I am looking for the parents of Catherine Ann MILLER born April 22, 1824 in Bucyrus, Crawford Co., Ohio. She married John M. RICHARD in Sept. of 1849 in Williams Co., Ohio and lived in Stryker, Ohio till her death in 1914. As she married before the 1850 census where she would be listed with her family, I am not sure how to proceed to find her family. I would appreciate help from anyone who is researching the MILLER family in Crawford Co. in the 1820's.

Searching for Michael SWITZER born circa 1860's. Moved to Abilene, Kansas where my Grandfather, Ora Michael SWITZER was born in 1862. My parents who died recently did not pass on any family history. They had in their pocession a sampler made by a Sally SWITZER dated 1885 Bucyrus, Ohio. Family tradition has it that Michael SWITZER was born in Ohio but there is no knowledge of where. Since we have the sampler it's possible he is from the Bucyrus area.

According to his pension application, he was born in Crawford County, Ohio, U.S.A., in 1840. He fought with the Indiana Fifth Cavalry from August, 1861, He married Susan Jane CUNNINGHAM, in 1870 in Porter County, Indiana, USA. I know of four children, Carrie Bell MUTCHLER (my grandmother), Mabel MUTCHLER,later adopted by the PALMER family. Harry MUTCHLER, Frank MUTCHLER. I am looking for William GURWELL and James GURWELL. William GURWELL born 1831. He served in the Ohio Volunteers at the battle of Laurel Hill in 1861. I think James was a cousin or possible twin brother. They settled in Doniphan County, Highland Station, Kansas in 1863. Any information would be appreciated.
